scholarship searches pay. Ideally, a college bound student
will begin search during the second semester of the
SOPHOMORE year ( 10th grade). Waiting until the senior year
diminishes dollar total results. The total number of
applications to many different organizations impacts final
dollar amounts.
The general rule is : apply often, apply
over a long period of time, and apply if in doubt. If a
committee or organization does not have an application, then
it cannot evaluate what it does not have. If applicants
merely apply within a state, out-of-state scholarships and
grants go unused.
